The Soling was designed as a day racer/sailer and appeared as a national class in Norway in 1965. In 1968 the ISAF selected the Soling to be the Olympic 3 man keelboat and it continued till 2000.
This one has been with current owner for 8 years and raced regularly with a Portsmouth yardstick of 935. In 2005 Hillary Lister, a quadraplegic, sailed it across the channel using sip and puff technology, the the first time this has been done.
This an excellent sea boat with good stability - ideal for learning on.
It has dinghy characteristics with keelboat safety.
