Broker's Comments

The Westerly Konsort 29 was one of the most popular boats from the Westerly range, with over 800 built, and for good reason. Her wide beam allowed for very spacious design of interior accommodation making her an ideal family yacht, yet easy to manoeuvre with a dependable, but not spectacular, sailing performance.

On deck, her wide side decks and well positioned grab rails make for safe for movement around on deck in all weathers.

This particular Westerly Konsort 29 is presented in excellent order with much of the issues that bedevil Westerly’s having been attended to. Works carried out in recent years include;

- New head linings
- Windows refurbished with new seals
- New cabin vents
- Refurbished skin fittings
- New stanchion bases
- New rudder pintel bushes (2012)
- New navigation instruments (2012)
- New running rigging (2012)

The current owner has retained much of the original style of the boat and as you step aboard and descend into the saloon you get the feel of a boat that is well built, lovingly cared for and maintained in a sea kindly fashion. If you are looking for a roomy family cruiser under 30ft the Westerly Konsort 29 has to be a serious contender.

Also included in the sale is a steel winter storage cradle.

This Westerly Konsort has now been significantly reduced in price since coming to market and now represents excellent value for a sturdy 29 footer.
