On contacting Samantha at Portsmouth Boatshed I was immediately impressed by her attitude and professionalism. This continued throughout the advertising and sale of my boat. She was completely honest and realistic about the price and condition and was thorough in producing videos and pictures for the advert. I was abroad for most of the process so she took care of visiting the boat with prospective buyers, arranging a scrub, the test sail and the lift out for the survey. This made my life a lot easier and simpler. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Samantha to friends and club members.

In July this year my husband & I, with much sadness, took the decision to sell our much treasured sailing boat. We were initially going to put her on the market ourselves because we didn’t want to pay brokers fees but were unsure of current prices and the legal side of things. A friend recommend that we contact Sam at Boatshed. We never looked back, from the moment Sam walked on board I knew we had done the right thing. She was able to advise us on the current market prices & was very sensitive to the fact that we were very sad at having to sell our boat. Sam made a brilliant video and took lots of pictures, the good and the bad. She found us a buyer in about 2 weeks and arranged all the viewings, survey & test sail at times convenient to us & the prospective buyer. We also felt very protected as there was never any contact between us & the buyer without it going through Sam, also the brokers fees were not as much as we expected. I can only say that if you are wanting to sell your boat contact Sam, you won’t regret it.
