This Beneteau 311 is fitted with the durable 2GM20F Yanmar diesel. It shows 1432 hours. Current owner has kept all service history since he took ownership. The engine is conveniently located beneath the removable companionway stairs. Once open, you will find easy access to engine service points and batteries. The compartment is lined with sound proof insulation for quiet motoring. The engine, batteries are clean and the compartment looks tidy and well kept.
The 12v electrical system is configured with 2 deep cycle lead acid batteries (~75Ah each). One is for starting and the other is for house loads.
The batteries are charged while on shore power and by the engines alternator while motoring. Another great feature is a 50 watt solar panel that provides a charge while at anchor.

Forward of the control pedestal is an attached table that cantilevers up and collapses down depending on your needs. There is a large lazarrette just under the cushion on the starboard side of the cockpit. Just aft of the lazarrette is an easy access to the isolated propane locker. The fender baskets are a great touch. Looking aft of the helm and lifting the hump seat, you find easy access to the transom sugar scoop and swim platform.
The nonskid and gelcoat on the decks, in the cockpit as well as the hull, all appear to be well taken care of.
There is easy access along the outboard side of the decks, to access the water filler cap as well as the diesel filler. The black water pump out is located on the starboard side deck.
Fuel is contained in a 21 gallon aluminum tank.
There is a ~50 gallon polyethylene fresh water tank and a ~20 gallon polyethylene holding tank for waste.
