What a boat! older she may be but don't let that put you off, especially if a spot of fishing in all weather or a weekend base to escape to appeals. Lovingly restored by her current owner the boat benefits from a long list of improvements.
Externally the aft deck floors have been replaced with a tough self draining design, the cuddy windows and frame work have also been strengthened and upgraded. The anchor locker has been enlarged- now big enough to store all warps, fenders, miscellaneous fishing gear etc. Extra bright work lights have been fitted to the bow and stern for early morning, late evening use.
Inside, the interior has been mostly restored/renewed, there are some areas that would benefit from a few finishing touches but on the whole everything is usable, dry and as it should be. There is a roomy fore peak double berth, a galley with sink and oven/cooker combo to starboard and saloon seating /second double to port. There is also a single electric head to starboard.
Included in the upgrades are a full led light instillation, interior side/roof trim, 12v-50amp Pro Charger Ultra (new 2021) at a value of £580.00 and handcrafted saloon table.
Mechanically the boat is spot on. again plenty of time, money and attention has been spent over recent years. Last hauled out in July 2021 the boat was cleaned down and antifouled, new 30 inch trim tabs were fitted (trim motors come with a life time guarantee). Leg and engine were fully serviced.
Note, the engine was removed and fully rebuilt in 2017.
I have witnessed the engine start and run, which it does smoothly as one would expect after such a recent rebuilt.
The owner notes the boat is capable of speeds in excess of 30 knots while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency.
In summary, this is an older craft but one with a fantastic maintenance record and multiple upgrades. A fast fisher, absolutely! alternatively, comfortable accommodation well suited to weekend breaks away or of course a combination of both.
Stock the fridge, store the rods, turn the key and she's ready to power down the haven for a day of fishing or swing in, drop the hook and enjoy a night in comfort at anchor.
