Broker's Comments

This fine historic vessel was built in the same place in the same year as the famous craft which appeared in the African Queen.
Constructed in 1915 in Port Stroud, she started life as a working tug boat in the Severn Estuary and Bistol Channel. In 1940 it was bought by British Waterways and in 1960 it was sold to a private owner and converted to a gentlemans motor launch.
30 years later it underwent a major restoration, the hull and topsides replaced, converted to twin screw with new engines and the inside completely refitted. This was overseen by marine surveyors and the documentation and photographic history is available.
It is a seaworthy vessel and has cruised to Menorca in 1999, travelled round the Balearics and back to UK 2005 and will serve as an ideal liveaboard ar long distance cruiser.
It is seriously for sale and any reasonable offer will be considered as will part exchange of a smaller boat, caravan, motor home etc.
Also there is the possibility of a liveaboard rental mooring to go with it.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
